At TwinRed we have time and day targeting options available, you can find it under Campaign > Placement > Schedule.
First, you have to select time zone to display: it can be Site Visitor’s Local Time Zone or UTC time zone:
- Site Visitor’s Local Time zone specifies that the visitor’s time zone is used to control the timing of ad visibility. This feature is not available for several TwinRed premium sites so for grabbing the most traffic we recommend only using UTC Time Zone for day-parting.
- UTC time zone will restrict ads to only run during these specific hours regardless of what time it is for the site visitor. If your product performs best on certain days of the week or time of day, you can choose exactly when you want your ads seen.
If you’re unsure of what time to run your campaign, we recommend targeting all time options and using reporting and analytics to learn more. You can always return and limit your placement times later.
Yes! TwinRed is a transparent network so you are able to see all our traffic sources by site and domain names. We recommend starting with a RON campaign to first test all the sources and optimize based on initial results
In order to see available traffic sources there are 4 ways to do it:
1. Under Campaign > Campaign Site Targeting:

2. Under Campaign > Placement > Your Bid and Zones:

3) On Account Level Campaign > Advertiser Site Targeting:

4) In the “Marketplace” Tab on your dashboard:
Also, don’t forget to check our “News Feed” on your Dashboard for latest news from TwinRed!
Site Targeting allows you to review all available sites that are eligible for your placement, and block/allow sites as needed.
We recommend buying across all sites (RON) for new placements to determine what the right sources are for you.
You have the option to allow or block traffic sources on 3 different level:
- At Campaign level under “Campaign > Campaign Site Targeting“ in your portal
- At Placement level under “Campaign > Placement > Your Bid and Zones“ in your portal
- At Account level under “Campaign > Advertiser Site Targeting” in your portal.
Using the option 1. Campaign level to target or block traffic sources, it gives you the flexibility to control the sites you want to run across for all the placements of a specific campaign. If a site is blocked on this level, all placements will respect the setting defined on campaign level and will not run on the site(s) selected.
Using the option 2. Placement Level has the same targeting control but would only be applicable for the specific placements within your campaign.
The plus (+) icon next to a site indicates that the site may have multiple domains that are available for targeting. Domains sources become available for targeting after registering significant volume. New domain sources will become available as they reach the threshold.
You can also do the same for the whole account using option 3. Advertiser Site Targeting – allows you to whitelist\black the sites you want across all campaigns for this account. If a site is blocked on this level, all campaigns and placements will respect this setting and not run on the site(s).
*TIP* Do you like your site configuration and want to copy the setup to a different placement? Simply select the “Copy Site List” link to copy the configuration information to your clipboard. The copied information can then be pasted in the filter box on the site column on additional placements to update your list as needed!
Please note that when you blacklist / whitelist you need to choose whether your campaign / placement will target new sites added to our inventory by selecting “New Sites are Allowed / Blocked”. We recommend always allowing new sites so that you’re constantly testing the newest additions. If however you’d like to target only a specific whitelist, ensure you choose “New Sites are Blocked”.

These are the ad content / behaviors, considered as “abusive experience” by Google, that we do tolerate and tag as “Google Non-compliant”:
- Fake Messages
- Unexpected Click Areas
- Misleading Landing Page Behavior
- Misleading Push Notification
- Browser History Manipulation
- Auto Redirect
- Mouse Pointer
- Flashy Banners
- Heavy Ads
The following criteria are the Google “abusive experiences” that we do not tolerate and any medias submitted with these identified behaviours will be declined.
- Malware or Unwanted Software
- Social Engineering (Phishing and Deceptive Sites)
An “abusive experience” is defined as any misleading element in an ad designed to trick the visitor into taking an action that was not intended. Most common in banners but also happening in pop-unders and landing pages in general, these elements (graphic or textual) aim to alter interactions of internet users.
You also need to know that websites’ publishers are the ones that are more affected by these Google rules, and the highest quality traffic sources are more likely to block Google non-compliant ads.
At TwinRed we are fully aware and take these rules into considerations 100% in all our processes.
As a result, we do tolerate ads with certain behaviors considered as Google Non-Compliant to run in our network. However, to make sure our publishers can always decide which type of ads will run on their sites, we label all our medias with a proper tag describing the ad content and behavior and allow publishers to disallow any such ads.
For more details about each of these criteria, you can visit our Advertising Guidelines and/or Google official statements.
Signing up on our platform only requires a few minutes and is completely free for both advertisers and publishers.
